  • Frequency – three days per week / 360 minutes.
  • Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 5:00pm-7:00pm GMT (depending on level and availability).
  • Length – 60 minutes per lesson / six lessons per week.

A typical week for students enrolled onto ‘Cambridge English Booster’ (B2 First):



Reading and use of English: Multiple choice cloze.
Speaking: Conversation with interlocutor.



Phrasal verbs: Turn & word formation.
Individual long turn and sentence stress.



Adjective prefixes: extra, hyper, over, under.
Open cloze.
Collaborative task.

*If you would like more hours you could add on General English or One-to-One lessons to your programme. These can be studied at a time to suit you. You can also study an online Business English exam Preparation course alongside your Cambridge English course, depending on your level.

Level of English

Before enrolling test your level of English. This table gives you an idea of the levels:

Little or no knowledge or experience of English
Knows basic greetings and can answer simple questions
Can hold a basic conversation (e.g. describe family) with help. Some knowledge of grammar, including past and future tenses
Can hold a basic conversation without difficulty but can’t discuss more complex issues. Some basic grammar mistakes
Can discuss some complex subjects fluently. Has no issues with common grammatical construction
Can discuss a wide range of complex subjects. Wide vocabulary. Can read newspapers and magazines without much difficulty. Mistakes are about style rather than structure

Exam Preparation

Cambridge First Certificate (FCE)
Level: Upper-Intermediate (5)
The most popular English language exam in the UK. Tests all four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is tested over 4 exam papers. NB: Although it is called ‘First’, FCE is not a low level exam
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
Level: Lower Advanced (5)
The advanced version of the First Certificate (see above). This exam specialises in preparing  students in everyday communication at an advanced level.

Tuition fees include:

    • Cambridge English Booster is our online live learning programme. You have full access from the time of enrolling and for the whole duration of your course.
    • Learner-Access Centre – A teacher is available to help you in our well-equipped centre for additional learning support.
    • Tutorials – Regular meetings to discuss your progress / study plans.
    • Regular exam practice.
    • Graduation certificate & final progress report written by your teacher.

Course programme

All students follow a course-book in classes at an upper-intermediate to advanced English language level which focuses on Cambridge English exam vocabulary and skills, and gives them grammar practice in test contexts.

Cambridge English Result’s unit topics cover subjects that are either popular, are relevant to assignment subjects, or are likely to occur in the exam.

An Exam skills and Exams practice section takes students step by step through a complete test, building knowledge and confidence to maximise their score.

Cambridge English Result is the official Oxford English preparation course for the academic Cambridge English B2 First and C1 Advanced examinations.

All courses we offer are aligned with the CEFR levels (A1 Starter - C1 Advanced) and to complete the course takes 150 classroom hours. At the end of the course students have the opportunity to take either the Cambridge B2 First or the C1 Advanced examination.

Zoom is a cloud platform for video and audio conferencing and is used for collaborations, catch-ups, and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, telephones and room systems. Zoom works to help organisations and individuals communicate, no matter where they are located in the world.
Lingo Perfecto offers live face-to-face classes with engaging native English speaking teachers. All you need is a laptop or computer and a good stable internet connection. You can select classes on a day that suits you best, either Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. At Lingo Perfecto, the average size for a group class is 6 students, however during peak hours and for popular levels you might study with a maximum of ten students in your class. We recommend that you book well in advance (at least seven days) to get the class and the time that is best for you.
Lingo Perfecto provides quality course materials which are free to access on your student platform. You do not need to buy any additional materials or textbooks.
All of our lessons are recorded and your teacher can provide you with a copy of the recording. We cannot offer refunds if you encounter problems with your internet connection during the lesson.
Inform your teacher that you will be unable to attend. They will be able to provide you with a recording of the lesson and any homework that you must complete. Refunds cannot be given for any lessons you don’t attend.
You need to complete our online test and our Academic Team will use this to place you into the correct level.
You can speak with your teacher and they will advise you on the best thing to do. This may involve changing courses if it’s the right thing for you.

Welcome to Cambridge Booster! Our B2 First class will be meeting from 5:00PM to 7:00PM GMT on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. However, instead of having a classroom on campus, we will be meeting online in a computer program called Zoom. To get to the program:

  2. Go to Download Centre.
  3. Choose your operating system.
  4. Click 'Download'.
